01What we do
Tilebrisk reviews racing games for players and families in the UK: rally, drift, arcade racers, anti-gravity racers and downhill rides. We only write about games we have driven for many evenings, and every review gives a typical sitting, the save point where it is kind to stop, who it suits, who can talk to you, what it sells once you are playing and how comfortable it is.
02Why a strategy screen?
Because racing players already plan in stints, pit stops and flags. An evening has a fixed distance, every game takes up some of it, and the good evenings are the ones that finish at the flag with nobody tempted into a last lap. So every review is a stint sized to its sitting, and the flag is the time screens go off.
03Who drives the cars
A small crew of long-time racing players, from pad-only arcade fans to people with a wheel bolted to the desk, together with parents who set up the family controls on every platform we mention. No review here pretends that games teach road driving.
04How the site is paid for
Not by anyone in the games or motor business. There are no adverts, affiliate links, sponsored reviews or products for sale. We host no games, run no accounts and take no payments.
05Conflicts of interest
If a reviewer has a personal or professional link to a game or studio, someone else writes the review and it says so. We accept no gifts, trips or early copies in exchange for coverage.
06The artwork
Every picture is an original illustration made for Tilebrisk in that game’s own visual style: a low-poly autumn diorama for one, a sunset arcade postcard for another, neon synthwave for a third and chunky late-1990s console 3D for a fourth. None of it is official artwork, a screenshot, a real car maker’s design or a real person. Our chequered-tile flag is our own.
07Why UK English?
British spelling, UK age labels, UK road law and UK support services. No pop-ups, no autoplaying video or sound and no tracking of any kind.
